TRAJECTORY PREDICTION UNCERTAINTY MODELING FOR CONTINUOUS DESCENT APPROACHES

In this paper a new methodology was applied to quantify real-time uncertainty estimation models within the NASA’s Center/TRACON Automation System (CTAS) for Continuous Descent Approach (CDA) operations. A model to add real-time uncertainty estimation to CTAS trajectory predictions has been developed through the analysis of real world data.
