Keywords: energy harvesting, piezoelectricity, finite element modeling, aeroelasticity

The investigation of effect of piezoelectric energy harvesting on the responses of a generator wing to a turbulence gust encounter is performed. The disturbance is based on the Dryden atmospheric turbulence model. Persistent vibrations and persistent electrical responses are expected. The piezoelectric shunt damping effect is also investigated.
