ANALYSIS AND TESTS OF IMPACT DAMAGED SYMMETRIC AND BALANCED LAMINATES

The CAI test method and corresponding analysis method are expanded to cover also multiaxial stress state. This is done by using laminates with symmetric and balanced lay-ups without any 0° layers. The applicability of the analysis method in multiaxial loading is reviewed and the effects of analysis parameters are considered.
