The method of decomposition of the aircraft multidisciplinary optimization problem into several single-discipline subtasks is described. It is based on the sensitivity analysis of aircraft mission efficiency using the adjoint system solution and Lagrangian functions calculated within the trajectory indirect optimization by the Pontryagin maximum principle.
