Keywords: laminar separation bubbles, acoustic control, low reynolds flow

An acoustic source is used to control the size and location of the laminar separation bubble on a FX63-137 airfoil. The effect of several sound frequencies and pressure levels is analyzed and the experimental results obtained with hot wire anemometry and oil flow surface visualization are compared with numerical data.
