AERODYNAMIC SHAPE OPTIMIZATION OF HYPERSONIC AIRLINERS CONSIDERING MULTI-DESIGN-POINT

Research objective is to propose design guides of the aerodynamic shape for hypersonic airliners with consideration of three design points (take-off, transonic flight, and hypersonic cruise). The shape optimization using CFD and gradient-based optimization method was conducted. Results are discussed based on Pareto-optimal solutions with respect to these design points.
