FULLY ISOTROPIC LAMINATES WITH UP TO TWENTY SEVEN PLIES

A number of numerical methods have been proposed to find fully isotropic stacking sequences for relatively thin composite laminates. The present study presents a relatively simple analytical method for obtaining some fully isotropic laminates made of (0°, +60°, -60°) or (0°, +45°, -45°, 90°) layers with up to 27 plies.
