SEMI-BURIED ENGINE INSTALLATION: THE NACRE PROJECT EXPERIENCE

This paper presents a synthesis of activities on semi-buried engine installations, performed within the NACRE project. The installation architectures were assessed considering aerodynamics, aeroacoustics, structures and certification aspects. The objective was to identify for each discipline promising design solutions and to assess their impact, based on the most recent knowledge.
