This paper proposes a methodology to ensure the sustainability of airport capacity-enhancement investments in face of uncertainty and future NextGen technologies. The proposed definition of adaptable technology portfolios will address the need identified by the Joint Planning and Development Office, to synchronize evolving technologies with airport needs and investment capabilities.
