DEPARTURE TAXI TIME PREDICTIONS USING ASDE-X SURVEILLANCE DATA

Algorithms have been developed to forecast taxi-in and taxi-out times based on ASDE-X surveillance data at ATL. Route prediction algorithms are combined with a route-specific unimpeded taxi time and an excess taxi time prediction based on time-ordered lists of aircraft at confluence points.
