Keywords: QUEUEING NETWORK MODELS

Queueing network models of air traffic are constructed to explicitly quantify the relationships between trajectory uncertainties due to aviation operations, precision of navigation and control, and traffic flow efficiency. Queuing models incorporating the trajectory uncertainty models are formulated at national, regional and local scales and their usefulness is illustrated.
