This paper proposes a methodology to developing a module for COSTing Life-cycle In material ProcesseS (COSTLIPS). A life cycle assessment and example estimating results for typical processes of aluminium for aircrafts are presented. The estimated outputs are not only processing costs, but also input and output materials, consumed energy, and emitted wastes.
