The WakeScene-D software package allows comprehensive airspace simulations for take-off and departure. Monte-Carlo simulations of traffic mix, aircraft trajectories, meteorological conditions, wake vortex evolution, and potential hazard are performed. In the EU-project CREDOS WakeScene-D is used to estimate wake-vortex encounter probabilities for crosswind dependent reduction of aircraft separations.
