An ontology is a knowledge structure that formalizes concepts, relationships and properties in a domain. We present an ontology for Air Traffic Flow Management (TFM), developed to enable reasoning and communication among the software agents of a TFM fast-time simulation. The ontology can also support knowledge dissemination and educational efforts.
