An analysis was undertaken to estimate the total annual dollar benefit, to airlines and other airspace users, of air Traffic Flow Management (TFM).  Two major components of TFM were considered: managing airport volume and managing airspace during severe weather.  Simulation modeling was undertaken to compare today’s TFM system with a hypothesized “No-TFM” scenario.
