The primary goal of this work is to quantify any benefits that the use of digital manufacturing methods can offer when used for manufacturing process and tool design for aerospace applications. The work will quantify any improvement in build time and cost when digital manufacturing methods are used to simulate the manufacturing process for a complex aircraft panel.
