Wyle Laboratories, USA; *Pratt & Whitney, USA

Keywords: ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE, OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY, QUIETER AIRCRAFT

This Paper discusses the findings of a study conducted by Wyle and Pratt & Whitney, which examines the intricate relationships among various aviation environmental and operational factors including noise at the source, aircraft emissions, fuel burn, and flight trajectories. The tradeoffs were assessed for single event and total airport operations.
