Keywords: Subsonic, Weather Effects, CFD

Ice accretion is numerically simulated for high-lift airfoil sections, employing a second-order panel method coupled to a droplet trajectory calculation method and a control-volume method for energy-balance/ice-growth. Presented are streamlines, droplet trajectories, distribution of the wetting efficiency and ice shapes for glaze-ice conditions.
