Stabilized approaches and adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) improve safety in approach-and-landing flight operations. This paper describes a computer simulation that predicts whether it is possible to fly a newly designed approach stabilized and according to SOPs, and that is intended as an additional tool during approach design.
