Enhancement of structural components can be achieved via iterative techniques like shape optimisation. Doing so, during the design phase, ensures that benefits are obtained in production, manpower and time taken to manufacture the part. Hence, this paper emphasises on shape optimisation methodologies for complex aircraft structures using the ReSHAPE software.
