This paper presents investigation into a rudderless aeroelastic fin technology (RAFT) for lateral stability and control of an aircraft. A stability derivative comparison is made between wind-tunnel test and numerical simulation results of the aircraft with original fin-rudder and the RAFT numerical result based on a novel design.
