A genetically optimized fuzzy logic has been considered to control a new ducted-fan UAV for its entire flight regimes; VTOL, hovers, manoeuvres, and transitions between vertical and horizontal flights. The use of fuzzy logic is substantial because the presence of parameters uncertainty and aerodynamic complexity in this UAV configuration.
