COMPRESSION STRENGTH OF NOTCHED AND IMPACT DAMAGED COMPOSITE LAMINATES

This paper presents the work performed on analytical estimation of compression strength of notched and impact damaged CFRP composite laminates. The analysis method used predicts well the compression strength of the notched laminates. In addition, the correspondence between analysis and test results of the impact damaged laminates is also good.
