The Gas Turbine Laboratory at Embry-Riddle Univ. was tasked to conduct a feasibility study on the re-engine of a VLJ. The team attempted to fit turbofans in the small space occupied by older turbojets. The Integrated Product Team concept was utilized to find a solution that suited all stakeholders.
