The higher efficiency of propeller propulsion comes at the cost of reduced directional control in one engine inoperative conditions. For a better understanding of the propeller interaction effects on the tail fin, dedicated windtunnel tests have been performed. The obtained results were used for validation of a numerical aerodynamic model.
