This paper expands Systems Analysis techniques to incorporate system-of-systems aspects in order to improve the applicability of analytical results. To do this, economic, operational, and political factors are included, in addition to technical requirements. An aircraft design problem is used to exemplify these concepts in a simulated operating environment.
