This paper discusses the development of the Multi Model Generator (MMG), a Knowledge Based Engineering application to support distributed multidisciplinary design and optimisation of various aircraft configurations. The MMG automates the generation of dedicated models for a heterogeneous set of commercial and proprietary analysis tool, both high and low fidelity.
