Keywords: wing morphing, tailless swept wing, UAV

Research at WVU is focusing on the control of a swept wing tailless UAV using adaptive washout wing morphing. Flight demonstrators, wind-tunnel, and CFD studies have been used to evaluate the flow physics, control and. Results have shown significant improvements in efficiency and the possibility of future birdlike flight.
