The unsteady flow in a 2-dimensional cavity at low Reynolds number is investigated experimentally. Time-resolved Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) shows the oscillatory character of the flow. Tomographic PIV is used to investigate the instant 3-dimensional flow.
