The paper will show different noise abatement flight procedures for a powered-lift airplane, steep and curved approaches in particular. Safety-critical, economical and passenger-comfort related aspects will be discussed. The typical measures to reduce noise will be adapted to special circumstances of powered lift, especially high thrust levels at low airspeeds.
