Piloted flight simulation tests have been performed using an onboard wake vortex Detection, Warning and Avoidance (DWA) system. In combination with this system a novel cockpit Human Machine Interface (HMI) was developed using the Primary Flight Display (PFD),the Navigation Display (ND) and a Vertical Navigation Display (VND).
