Keywords: Oscillatory Failure Cases, Structural Loads, Monitoring System, Aeroservoelasticity

Modern aircraft must be equipped with suitable monitoring devices to avoid malfunctioning of the PFC, such as control surface oscillations. Methods of model-based fault diagnosis are proposed to reduce the level of failure-case-induced structural loads. Validation is accomplished by means of an experimental test rig and an aeroservoelastic aircraft model.
