Using updated knowledge and gained experience in engine control and maintenance a specific on-condition maintenance concept of RD-33 engines installed on Yugoslav Air Force MiG-29s was developed in the middle of the 1990s. The concept included two components: on-condition maintenance with discrete check of parameters condition and periodic partial engine.
