Experimental and analytical studies were conducted on fatigue and crack growth behavior, and life prediction, both electron-beam and argon-arc welded titanium alloy joints. A small crack methodology was used to predict total fatigue lives of weld joints, and study effect of size and location of weld defect on fatigue lives.
