CESSNA CITATION CJ1 FLIGHT TEST DATA GATHERING AND LEVEL-C SIMULATOR MODEL DEVELOPMENT

This paper describes the development of a full simulator model for the Cessna CJ1 satisfying the FAA’s Level C standards. Aerodynamic derivatives and curve fitting of flight test data were used to develop aerodynamic, flight control, engine, and ground dynamics models. Model development time was reduced to six months.
