Computerised Environment for Aircraft Synthesis and Integrated Optimisation Methods (CEASIOM) is developed for improved aircraft conceptual design. Major enhancements compared to previous/existing tools concern the CAD-centric geometry definition, the use of adaptive fidelity CFD and stability/control analysis methods, and environmental and economical considerations in early aircraft design.
