A technique for elastic-plastic correction of a linear elastic FE-result is suggested. It allows for rapid (compared to non-linear FE-analysis) and accurate analysis of extremely long load sequences with load steps above yielding. The procedure is called the Super-Neuber technique, as its formulation includes a modification to the Neuber equation.
