ACTIVE CONTROL OF SEPARATION ON TWO AND THREE DIMENSIONAL HIGH-LIFT CONFIGURATIONS

An experimental investigation on active separation control is reported using local periodic excitation in order to suppress flow separation on high-lift configurations. The results of a two dimensional test case (closed-loop control system) are presented as well as results of a three dimensional case using a swept constant chord half-model.
