Low emissions goal has changed several aspects of combustor cooling, which need significant design efforts to match desired performances. Paper deals with simplified 1D and complete CFD-3D conjugate simulations of effusion cooling, performed in the first year of INTELLECT-D.M. (FP6-EUproject). Geometries are derived from typical LPP combustor cooling configurations.
