The goal of the SUPERTRAC (SUPERsonic TRAnsition Control) project funded by the EC is to perform fundamental, numerical and experimental investigations for evaluating the possibilities of laminar flow control on supersonic aircraft wings. The considered techniques are: shape optimisation, suction, micron-sized roughness elements and anti-contamination devices.
