THE WAY OF HARMONIZATION AND COOPERATION IN AEROSPACE EDUCATION IN EUROPE

In the framework of the educational reform within the European Union initiatives have been taken with the objective to harmonize the educational systems of the different countries and to introduce new international oriented study curricula based on two main study cycles. In order to strengthen the internationalisation of the education numerous bilateral cooperation programs and university networks have been developed. The objective of this paper is to present the current engineering education system within Europe and to give an overview on the major cooperation programs and university networks.
