In this paper, a simplified linear model of a two-engine bleed air system of an aircraft is developed. An active fault-tolerant controller is designed using the pseudo-inverse method. Simulations results have shown that this design method can significantly improve system performance when faults occur on the pressure regulator of the bleed air control system.
