Keywords: nonlinear dynamics, bifurcation diagram, feedback control
Bifurcation tailoring is a novel control technique where parameters in addition to the bifurcation parameter are varied in order to change the bifurcation diagram of a system to some given desired one. The addition of a feedback control loop addresses stability and robustness issues. Examples are given applied to 2nd order flight dynamics.
