TRAJECTORY OPTIMIZATION OF SPACE PLANE USING GENETIC ALGORITHM COMBINED WITH GRADIENT METHOD

This study aims to obtain the optimal trajectory of a space plane with the rigid body assumption using effective optimization methods. The guidance law and the feedback gains are optimized simultaneously. Furthermore, Genetic Algorithm is applied in order to obtain an appropriate initial guess of the optimal solution, and subsequently Sequential Quadratic Programming is utilized to refine the solution. The effectiveness of the proposed methods is demonstrated.
