Keywords: turbine, aerodynamics, performance, turbulence, reynolds number, clocking

The performance of a two stage reduced solidity low-pressure turbine was measured in a low-speed test facility and compared with results from a baseline turbine with conventional solidity levels. Both turbines were tested with clean inlet flow, and with a turbulence grid at inlet, to give a total of four configurations. Effects of Reynolds number and airfoil clocking were also investigated.
