Keywords: laser guided weapons, weapon-system interactions

In this paper, a simulation is used to examine the sensitivity of enhanced laser-guided bombs to errors in the navigation system of the delivery aircraft. The analysis considers different modes of delivery, medium-level level-flight and low-level toss deliveries, and demonstrates that the accuracy of the navigation system of the delivery aircraft plays a significant role in weapon system performance.
