A procedure based on J2-deformation theory is discussed for the calculation of plasticity correction factors for buckling of flat Glare plates loaded in compression or shear. In addition, a number of non-linear FEM calculations are made with imperfect plates using J2-flow theory, and a comparison is made between the results obtained both ways.
