Keywords: damage tolerance, fatigue crack growth, residual strength, degradation

The investigation of fatigue crack growth in specimens under the spectrum of transport airplane wing loading was carried out. Generalized Willenborg model was used. Method using R-curve of the material was proposed for the analysis of the residual strength of the stiffened structure such as skin with stringers. Estimative criterion of the residual strength in case of MSD was proposed. The influence of the airplane long operation on the fatigue properties of the structure material was considered.
