TRANSONIC AILERON BUZZ BOUNDARY PREDICTION USING HOPF-BIFURCATION ANALYSIS METHOD

Hopf-bifurcation analysis method is employed to predict the transonic aileron buzz boundary for a delta-wing model with a full span aileron. The calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental data taken in the NASA Langley's Transonic Dynamics Tunnel (TDT).
