Keywords: correlation, cultural background and commercial aircraft accidents
Indirect proof of the relation between the world
aircraft accident rates and the cultural
background is established with the correlation
study in this research. The most important
culture variable found in this study is
authoritarianism. The second is the favor. The
authoritarianism is about three times more
important than the favor. Combination of these
two features can explain more then half of the
tendency of the accident rates. Further study
with more complete data is needed to make more
concrete conclusion.
